My holiday in new year 2012

   Hmmm.. I want to write my experiences in 2012. This is my first experience that I was going to my candidate parent in law's house. I wanted to see my girl friend. She and I  both never meet in three years during our relation two years.

This is my girl friend. She is Masrida Gultom. She was born on 21st March 1982

          

        Look at her! I don't know why I like her. Hmmmmm.... okkkk I will continue my story. I went to Samosir island with my close friend. He is a young man, He and I both studied in Senoir High School of Nommensen Pematangsiantar. His name is Gamaliel Sihombing. We went on 2nd January 2012 to Samosir island by micro bus at 10 am. Usually if the new year comes the fare of micro bus would be higher than another day. Praise the Jesus Christ we got in micro bus and got the standard fare. Gamaliel and I took a ride micro bus during 45 minutes then we arrived in Toba Lake. 

This is a side of Toba Lake I took when I was acrossing Toba Lake. I acrossed by ship  from Toba lake to Samosir island during 20 minutes. The name of port is Ajibata.

 

 

         My girl arrived  to her village on 28th December 2011, she got holiday arround two weeks. I had promised that I would come to her village. Gamaliel and I came to her house. I was happy when Gamaliel and I both arrived to her house. I came to her house to bring cake from Ganda Bakery as a gift. Hohohoho this is a culture from Batak's tribe.

 

 

 She is my candidate mother in- law. She was making Itak Gur-gur.

 

 

               Do you know Itak Gur-gur???? Ok I will little bit to all of you. Itak Gur-gur is a traditional food from North Sumatra especially from Toba (Samosir, Tarutung). The way of doing Itak Gur-gur  from rice flour then it must be softness, and it is pounded by a stick call as ANDALU. And if you want to soften rice flour with another such as turmeric, coconut, sugar.  You must put in to a hole like my candidate mother in-law did. That tool call as LOSUNG (Look at my candidate mother in-law picture).... My girl asked her mom to make Itak Gur-gur.Itak Gur-gur did not cook, usually eat uncooked.

               I stayed in my girl's house for two days. Many interesting events I got in my girl's house such as knowing my candidate parent in-law, my candidate brothers and sisters in-law. My girl has two brothers and two sisters, she is the oldest. 

             When I wanted back to my town, my girl asked to walk from her house to the port. UUUuuupss sorry I don't tell you before that the port of arriving to my girl village is Onan Runggu. Each passenger pay Rp 15.000,-. When we wanted back acrrosed the Lake again by ship. Hmmm my girl asked Gamaliel and I to walk to another port, I don't remember the name of the port. The distance from her house to the port about 1,5 km. Hmmmm it is so far and we must walk fastly so we could got the ship. I was tired to walk like as to run.

Hmm he still smiling although he was tired after walking 1,5 km.

 

 

This is I.  I was looking and I would miss an interesting place in Samosir island.

 

 

Those are My girl and I. It took when we were acrossing Toba lake on 4th January 2012.

 

          I hope our relation go forward until we marry.
